This workshop is tailored for individuals with a foundational understanding of modern calligraphy and who are eager to elevate their skills to the next level. If you have mastered the basics and are ready to refine your technique, this full-day immersive experience is perfect.
During the workshop, you will explore the intricacies of elegant calligraphy. You will have the opportunity to experiment with different nibs, discovering how each can influence your style and the overall appearance of your lettering. We will look at how the angle of your pen, the spacing of your letters, and the art of flourishing can all contribute to creating a distinctive and refined look.
A key focus will be on helping you define and develop your unique style. Through guided practice, you will learn how subtle changes in technique can dramatically alter the rhythm, bounce, and overall flow of your calligraphy. This workshop will encourage you to experiment with various styles, pushing the boundaries of your current skills to find the one that works best for you.
Additionally, we will work on consistency, ensuring that your letters not only look beautiful individually but also harmonise. Whether you want to create stunning invitations, beautiful artwork, or enhance your projects, this workshop will provide you with the advanced techniques and confidence needed to achieve your goals.
Join us for a day of creativity and learning and leave with the skills to transform your calligraphy into something uniquely yours.
