In this course, we'll teach you how to sketch with speed and precision using a variety of techniques and exercises that will help you build your skills and confidence. Our experienced tutor will guide you through a variety of techniques that will help you create dynamic and expressive sketches in no time.

Course Description

• Introduction to 2D and 3D technical drawings

• Introduction to One-point perspective

• Introduction to Two-point perspective

• A series of practical exercises

Course aims:

• Build your sketching skills and techniques

• Improve your speed and efficiency when sketching

• Learn how to sketch with confidence without worrying about perfection

• Develop your ability to think visually

• Use freehand sketching as a tool for brainstorming, problem-solving and communication

• Apply your new skills and techniques to personal or professional projects

Timetable

Arrival Day - this is the first date listed above

Courses start early evening. Residential students to arrive from 4pm, non-residential students to arrive by 6.45pm.

6.45pm: Welcome, followed by dinner (included).

8 - 9pm: First teaching session, attendance is essential.

Daily timetable

Classes 9.15 - 5pm, lunch is included.

From 6.30pm: Dinner (included for residential students).

Evening working - students may have access to workshops until 9pm, but only with their tutor's permission and provided any health and safety guidelines are observed.

Last day

Classes 9.15am - 3pm, lunch is included.

Residential students are to vacate their rooms by 10am please.

Additional information

Breakfast refreshments and a delicious light lunch will be provided on the first day. While a vegetarian option is made available, we are unable to cater to specific food intolerances or food allergies.

Gianfrancesco has almost 30 years of experience in Interior Architecture and Design working on international residential projects and 17 years experience of teaching Interior Design.
