The Interior Design Short Course focuses on the fundamentals of designing for residential interiors, covering subjects such as the design process, colour, using fabrics and trimmings, lighting, space planning to scale, soft furnishings, developing a concept, sourcing, presentation boards and managing a residential project. The course culminates in producing a professional quality concept board and sample board for a room in your own home or for a KLC-provided client.

Any person who wants some fundamental knowledge and skills for their own personal design projects.

9.30am arrival on day 1.
Teaching hours 10.00am - 2.30pm.
This course runs over 9 consecutive Fridays with a half term course break in week 5.
