On this introduction to silver clay course you will learn how to handle, texture and cut the clay to create a pendant or pair of drop earrrings.
You will learn how to refine your piece for a quality finish and how to torch fire your creation. You will polish and patinate your piece of jewellery ready to wear and go home with at end of the day.
This is a fun and relaxed workshop and is ideal for beginners.
A small selection of sterling silver chains and ear wires will be available to purchase at the end of the day at additional cost.
On this course the College will supply all of the materials including 10g silver clay per student (extra available to purchase from the tutor if required), polishing papers and sanding pads.

Silver can be purchased from the College Shop, which stocks a range of sheet, wire, rod, tube and findings. These will be available in set sizes and lengths suitable for a wide range of projects Available from tutor:

Please wear appropriate clothing/aprons for the workshop or studio, this includes stout covered footwear (no sandals or open toes).
