Recently graduated MA student Anni Onsager has been awarded the Bærum Municipality Art Award 2012, for a bronze sculpture included in 'A Thousand and One Nights', a group exhibition curated by the Barum Art Association, Sandvika, Norway. The Association also purchased Anni's piece, which will be on display at Sandvika Town Hall between 8th and 30th December.
In addition, a number of Anni's pieces are currently shortlisted for the Cork Street Open Winter Exhibition, which is due to open in January 2013.
Anni's work is also included in Less is a More, a group exhibition curated by the Norwegian Sculptors Society, held at Sound of Mu in Oslo between 5th and 21st December.
If that weren't enough, Anni is also working toward a solo show in association with the Henrik Ibsen Museum in Grimstad, Norway, scheduled to take place between June and September 2013. Anni, whose work often drew inspiration from various Ibsen plays during her Masters study at West Dean College, will be allowed permission to use all of the Museum's rooms and its garden.
