Eduroam
How to connect to West Dean Eduroam with your @westdean.ac.uk account
Step 1 - Get online
Ensure your device has an internet connection using either mobile data (4G/5G) or the 'West Dean Visitors' Wi-Fi network.
Step 2 - Access the Eduroam page
Navigate to www.westdean.ac.uk/eduroam and select your device type (Windows, Mac, iOS, or Android)*
Step 3 - Login with your West Dean account
You’ll be prompted to authenticate through Microsoft 365. Please log in with your West Dean Microsoft 365 account, which will be in the following format:
- Staff – [email protected]
- Students – [email protected] (XX = enrolment year (e.g. 25 for 2025) YZ = initials)
Step 4 - Follow the setup instructions for your device
Follow the step-by-step instructions provided for your device. Once completed, go to your device’s Wi-Fi settings and select the "Eduroam" network.
Need help?
If you encounter issues connecting your device to Eduroam, you can temporarily use the 'Private WiFi' network, accessible to West Dean staff and students, while seeking support from the Technical Resources team.
