This recital begins with gods, goddesses and mortals in love and moves through the beauty of nature and wedded bliss to enchanted islands, finishing with fun and frolics. This delightful programme will wind its way through works by Handel, Purcell, Mozart, Schubert, Verdi, Berlioz, Weill and Gershwin, amongst others. Something for everyone!
Alison graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has enjoyed an international career as a soprano soloist. A vocal professor at the RAM (1996–2010), she has given masterclasses and broadcast worldwide and for the BBC.
