About this course

An inspiring and practical two-day course for aspiring interior designers who want to start their own business. Learn the tools, strategies and mindset needed to confidently attract clients and build your brand.

Course Description

This energising, hands-on course is the ideal first step for aspiring interior designers who want to launch a business, attract clients and establish a strong brand presence. Whether you're fresh out of design school or pivoting from another career, you'll learn how to go from "just an idea" to a booked-out creative service.

Split over two short but focused Thursdays, this course provides a clear, step-by-step roadmap to becoming a fully booked interior designer. We'll cover everything from identifying your ideal client and designing services that sell, to developing a minimal viable brand and creating your first marketing funnel—even if you don’t have a portfolio yet.

Expect practical exercises, group discussions, real-world examples and expert feedback tailored to your stage of business. You’ll walk away with a clear action plan, a better understanding of your niche and audience, and the confidence to market your services effectively and professionally.

We’ll also explore the “behind the scenes” of setting up a business, including pricing, contracts, photoshoots and processes that help you deliver great client experiences from the very beginning.

No fluff, no intimidating business jargon—just practical, proven steps that will help you start strong and keep building.
