About this course

Add a touch of shimmer to your season! Learn how to use a pointed nib with dazzling metallic paints and inks to create elegant calligraphy for Christmas card designs.

Course Description

You will be guided step by step through the basics of using a dip pen, forming festive words and phrases, and combining them with simple layouts perfect for cards. We will cover how to load your nib with metallics, tips for getting crisp strokes, and ways to add sparkle.

By the end of the course, you will have beautiful handmade cards ready to share, and the skills to keep writing with style.

No previous experience needed. All materials provided.

Please wear appropriate clothing/aprons for the workshop or studio, this includes stout covered footwear (no sandals or open toes).
