Oliver Piepereit
Oliver Piepereit is a trained interior designer, furniture maker and traditional and contemporary furniture re-finisher with 15 years' experience in the design industry.
A large proportion of Oliver’s time is dedicated to teaching furniture refinishing workshops specialising in traditional French polishing and contemporary re-finishing.
Describe your approach to teaching.
I believe in practical teaching methods with accompanying in-depth tuition notes. Each stage I’ll demonstrate, followed by the students putting what they’ve learned into practice.
What inspires your own work?
I’m a lover of design and all arts and crafts, contemporary and traditional. Keeping old traditions alive inspires me as does creating something completely innovative.
