Describe your approach to teaching
I have an easy-going approach to teaching, encouraging students to learn principles of botanical art whilst enjoying the process of observing, drawing, and painting beautiful plant representations accurately.

What inspires your own work?
I have always loved flowers and feel the need to capture them in watercolour. I love the diversity of colour, the velvet and silk textures, the shape, form and light patterns that make the petals and leaves shimmer and shine.
