It was with great sadness that West Dean College heard about the recent death of the celebrated artist, writer and educator, Edward Allington. He was a long-standing friend, supporter and inspiration for the College, particularly its Visual Arts programmes, for which he was External Examiner between 2008 and 2013. Our condolences are with his family. A brief tribute to Edward's life and work can be found in the latest edition of <a href="https://frieze.com/article/edward-allington-1951-2017?language=en">Freize</a>, a magazine to which he was a regular contributor.
