On this one-day course, you will make a copper-foiled glass Christmas poinsettia hanging, approximately 28cm/11"”wide.
You will learn how to cut and prepare the glass, and how to copperfoil, solder and finish the hanging. Each stage will be demonstrated by the tutor and will be followed by individual tutor support.
This one-day course follows a set project specifically designed and prepared by the tutor. Changes to the design cannot be done due to the logistics of the course.
All the materials and tools required for the course will be supplied.
Available from shop: We have a generously stocked craft shop, which opens daily from 8:30am–2pm.
Please wear appropriate clothing/aprons for the workshop or studio, this includes stout covered footwear (no sandals or open toes).
Please note: If you are pregnant, you should consult your GP before enrolling on this course, as working with solder can be harmful to the developing baby.
