About this course

The course is a six week online only course, 9 January to 27 February 2026, 25-30 hours over six weeks. The course is released online on 9 January 2026 for self-study, the first live participation session is on Zoom on 23 January 2026.


Working to a set brief, develop visual and contextual research skills to identify a personal response to a subject. The course is delivered entirely online with content and links released each week via the Moodle Project Brief Course Hub. Students complete work in their own time followed by live group discussions and individual tutorials on Zoom.


This course is for West Dean Foundation Diploma in Art and Design (FDAD) students and graduates only. Priority is given to your cohort (FDAD May 2024 intake) but students from other FDAD intake groups may join your course subject to availability.
