After a degree in illustration from The University of Kingston, Tim apprenticed with the painter-etcher Piers Browne at his studio overlooking Wensleydale for 3 years.Tim then went into business with the Princes Trust and has shown at over 200 exhibitions. He paints large landscapes based around trees, and seascapes based around the Isle of Wight, where he lives and prints his etchings. He had a studio at the Chocolate Factory in North London, has 16 etchings in the collection at the Palace of Westminster and has won the Brighton Open House Best Artist 2008 other adventures. He paints to commission.
Tom Boulton - Letterpress printer & typographic designer Language & the way words flow are an important part of my work, they are the starting point for all my design & print projects. With over 10 years' experience in Letterpress printing & designing, I have worked with a wide variety of people and organisations including Tate Modern, Southbank Centre, V&A, Fortnum & Mason to name a few. I am obsessed with hand printing, hand making things & restoring old machinery.
Flowers are good for the soul. Vicky likes to look closely at each flower and then to surrender to the process of creating. Her finished pictures often make her smile, the results often unexpected, and are her own interpretation of the beauty she finds in nature, objects and plants, of the things we come into contact with in our everyday lives.
Sophie is a graduate of Nottingham Trent University, where she studied photography. After a career as a magazine picture editor in London, she felt the calling of the sea and moved to sunny Worthing in 2013 and set up We Are Mountain, creating bright and colourful screen prints, linocuts, tea towels and greetings cards inspired by the seaside and natural world around her, designed to make you smile!
Sussex born Yolande Beer makes brightly coloured earthenware and white stoneware. She began her career at Brighton College of art where she excelled in ceramics and life drawing. Here she discovered her niche by decorating her pots, platters and tiles with lively flowing figures. Her exhibiting venues include Charleston Farmhouse, Firle and The Ashdown gallery in Forest Row.
