Describe your approach to teaching
My aim when teaching is to help gardeners realise that roses are easy to grow and, along the way, dispel lots of myths about them.

What inspires your own work?
My inspiration comes from the roses themselves. They are such a diverse group and the most garden worthy of all plants. They also play an integral part in our culture.
