Sarah Lomax

Sarah Lomax has been a milliner for over 30 years since serving an apprenticeship with the late Frederick Fox. Learning her trade-making hats for The Queen and celebrity clients the couture methods and meticulous attention to detail have inspired and informed her working practice ever since.
 
Sarah is the co-creator of the bespoke millinery brand Lomax and Skinner. She designs and creates contemporary millinery with profound respect for the traditions of the trade woven through every piece.
 
With a passion for inspiring new practitioners to the craft, Sarah is co-author of Millinery: The Art of Hat Making, a qualified FE tutor and a founder member of The British Hat Guild.
