Design. Build. Scale. The Interior Design Business Blueprint. A comprehensive roadmap to launching and running your own profitable interior design practice.
Growing Your Business: Learn how to grow your interior design practice with purpose, professionalism and visibility.
Once your business is up and running, the next challenge is growth—how to attract the right clients, build a credible portfolio and raise your profile in a competitive industry. Your business is designed to give emerging designers a roadmap to scale up, strategically and sustainably.
This course begins with a clear-eyed look at growth: when it’s the right time to expand, what growth actually means for a creative business and the different routes you can take—whether that’s building a team, specialising your services or expanding your offer.
You’ll explore the power of referrals and why they remain the most effective (and often most overlooked) form of marketing in the design world. You'll learn how to create client experiences that naturally lead to recommendations and how to nurture professional relationships that generate new leads over time.
We’ll also cover how to grow your portfolio—even if you haven’t yet landed big-ticket projects. Through strategic presentation, creative storytelling and thoughtful positioning, you'll learn how to build credibility and trust from day one.
Finally, you’ll get an introduction to networking for designers: where to show up, how to talk about your business with confidence and how to build a professional community that supports your growth.
By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped with the mindset and tactics to grow your business with intention—and without burning out.
Because great design is only half the story. The other half is making sure people know about it.
