This taster day introduces beginners to the exciting possibilities of warm glass – using fusing techniques to form glass in the kiln. With a focus on colour and texture, you will be making small glass Christmas decorations.
By the end of the day you will have created a number of glass fusions. In producing this work, you will have learnt how to cut glass and the tutor will also explain what happens to the glass during the firing cycle and glass compatibility.
We will cover simple glass cutting – cutting straight lines, circles and strips.

The course fee includes the cost of all glass and the firing.
