On this course, you will use the form and anatomy of a human figure to create a clay sculpture which captures the essence of your creative ideas. In which direction and how far you take this will be your decision; you will be encouraged to explore your own boundaries.
Whilst this creative process takes place, you will be honing and developing the skills of armature building, the use of clay, tools and techniques.
You will work from a life model with teaching aids, such as the flayed man.
By the end of the course, you will have gained confidence in your creative ideas and your ability to work with clay.
