Spend an inspiring day with flower farmer and florist, Georgie Newbery of Common Farm Flowers. Georgie will spend the first part of the morning helping you think creatively about what to grow in your own cut flower patch in order to produce a balance of focal flowers, filler and foliage for your own flower arrangements.
After a coffee break, Georgie will take you to the beautifully curated cutting gardens at West Dean Garden and show you how to cut and condition flowers to make the best of them from your own garden.
After a delicious lunch, Georgie will create a fantastic, foam-free arrangement in one of her own vintage vessels, demonstrating techniques for creating real wow factor floristry while using only sustainable floristry mechanics.
