West Dean Campus

Just a short bus journey from the bustling historic city of Chichester, offering a myriad of shops, restaurants, galleries, museums, cinemas and green spaces, it has everything you could need! 

Heading out of the city you’re met with stunning beaches and harbours, ideal for windsurfing, paddleboarding and many more outdoor pursuits. For weekends and much-needed downtime, there are many walking and cycling trails around campus, as well as dedicated tennis courts and a heated open-air swimming pool.

Being in the cultural hub of the UK, and with iconic places like the Design Museum, Tate Modern, and King’s Road just a stone’s throw away, our London campus is the ideal location for students to take inspiration, challenge ideas and establish their careers in design. Famous for its museums and galleries, green spaces, and lively foodie scene, it’s no wonder so many choose to move to London to study!

Students can choose from a variety of short courses in art, design, photography, craft, food, gardening, music and much more, run by West Dean throughout the year across both campuses. 

If there are short courses places available at weekends during term time, students are encouraged to attend free of charge, just paying for material costs. Learn more about short courses
