Lecture

Growing better sweet peas - garden lecture with Roger Parsons

West Dean College

£40

Would you like to grow better sweet peas? Join specialist grower, Roger Parsons, for an afternoon lecture. He will explain the differences between the surprisingly wide range of types of sweet peas and will take you through the different methods of producing young plants and will debunk a few myths along the way.

The closely-related annual Lathyrus species will be introduced, in a talk that should appeal to those growing for garden decoration and cutting for the house, cut flower sales or their local flower show. Roger will draw on his extensive knowledge and experience of growing sweet peas to answer any remaining questions. Seeds will be available from the National Collection of Sweet Peas and other Lathyrus.
