Enjoy a Spring Garden Tour of the famous West Dean Gardens
Your tour guide will give you expert insight into the running and management of key areas of the Garden.
Throughout the gardens, you’ll experience an ever-changing presence of flowers in spring from ornamental trees and flowering borders that bring colour, scent and movement to the landscape.
Blossom at West Dean is not simply a moment in the calendar, but a celebration of growth and renewal woven through the estate, offering visitors the chance to witness the gardens at their most atmospheric.

- Sometimes the tracks and paths can be muddy, steep and uneven – please wear suitable footwear and take care.
- Please wear appropriate clothing for the time of year.

- Be aware that garden vehicles may be moving around
- Please note that the garden tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours and involves continuous walking and standing, so we recommend wearing comfortable footwear and being prepared for the duration
- Entry is through the West Dean Gardens entrance, where a member of staff will check your ticket and direct you to your tour guide
