Furniture alumnus wins Heritage Craft award
Congratulations to FdA Furniture alumnus Harry T Morris on being named Young Woodworker of the Year in the 2023 Heritage Craft Awards, presented at a prestigious Winners’ Reception at Windsor Castle recently!
Since graduating from West Dean in 2019, Harry has undertaken training with master craftsmen in Japan, participated in an Artists' Residency at The Bower in Sydney, and set up his own workshop as HT Morris Furniture, where he designs and makes furniture using traditional tools, materials and techniques. This year, Harry released the hugely successful booklet, 'Woodworking with hand tools'.
