We’re excited to announce a new partnership with L’Oréal Luxe UK & Ireland to deliver a bespoke certified skills programme for its leading makeup artists and Beauty Experts from across the UK.
This course celebrates artistry, strengthens professional recognition and highlights the value of vocational education within the beauty industry. It was developed in collaboration with The Modern Calligraphy Co., long-standing West Dean tutors and specialists in luxury beauty training. Their extensive experience in the sector has been instrumental in shaping the bespoke curriculum.
Luxury brands increasingly recognise that exceptional customer experiences are built on expertise, craftsmanship and continual professional development. Personalisation is a hallmark of premium brands, and bespoke services add a distinctive dimension to the customer journey. The ability to offer beautifully executed, personalised touches is a valuable extension of the artistry and expertise customers expect.
Through intensive training in calligraphy and engraving, participants will develop new skills that combine creativity, precision and technical mastery, and will gain a certification from West Dean. Over two days, they will build capabilities that call for concentration, patience and exceptional attention to detail.
We designed the programme to offer more than self-directed study or online tutorials. Many practical disciplines benefit from hands-on teaching, immediate tutor feedback and in-person demonstrations. In highly technical crafts, techniques can easily be misinterpreted, habits incorrectly learned and standards inconsistently applied without expert guidance. By learning in a studio environment, participants will receive individual coaching from experienced tutors and develop the precision, confidence and professional standards these specialist skills demand.
