About this course
A taster session exploring wire sculpture, creating delicate butterfly forms. You will be guided through bending, twisting, and fixing wire to create one or two sculptural pieces. This two hour taster session will be held on the Gardens Gatehouse Craft Table. Please access via the Gardens Entrance.
Course Description
An accessible introduction to sculpting with wire, suitable for complete beginners.
Through guided, hands-on practice, youll learn how to shape and join wire to create light, expressive butterfly forms while building confidence with simple tools and techniques. Your hands are a key part of the process and may get a little messy.
Please note: this session is not recommended for those with arthritic fingers.
You will take home your own wire sculpture at the end of the session.
