This summer, discover creative short courses hosted across the beautiful estates of West Dean and Petworth House in this collaboration celebrating our shared artistic heritage. West Dean and Petworth House share a rich history of influential patronages from Salvador Dalí to JMW Turner and remain committed champions of the arts to this day.

This series of courses will provide an introduction to a variety of mediums, from oil painting to watercolour and chalk pastels.

How to get there

Petwork House car park is located on the A283. From the A272 drive north away from the centre of Petworth town, follow the brown signs 'Petworth House' for main car park. The House is 700 yards from the car park up a steep incline. Directions here.

West Dean Sussex campus is 6 miles north of Chichester on the A286 towards Midhurst. Free parking is available, with designated spaces for disabled visitors. Directions here.
