Karen Gwilliams

Karen is a chartered and conservation-accredited building surveyor, latterly working as Senior Historic Building Surveyor with English Heritage. Karen's work at EH included developing and managing the condition survey programme, drafting planned maintenance schedules for sites and writing feasibility papers for major projects. Prior to joining EH Karen was an Operations Building Surveyor with the National Trust, looking after sites in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and early in her career she spent 18 months in private practice with Philip Hughes Associates working on ecclesiastical buildings.
