Linda Miller has been a full time professional embroiderer since she graduated from Winchester school of art in 1988.
Her work is held in public and private collections throughout the UK Europe and the USA. Throughout her career she has taught in Colleges, Schools and for Regional Branches of the Embroiderers Guild.
Describe your approach to teaching:
I aim to provide a relaxed and comfortable workshop environment where after a machine embroidery demonstration students can experiment and explore with thread and machine stitch to create their own imagery in free machine embroidery.
What inspires your work?
I like to be outside watching the world go by, and hopefully included in the menagerie is tea, cake, people, pets colour and light.
