Lorenzo Davitti

Lorenzo Davitti, born in Florence and now based in London, graduated from the London College of Communication with an MA in Illustration in 2015. An award-winning printmaker and technical tutor at UCA Farnham, he regularly exhibits his work in the UK and internationally.

Describe your approach to teaching
I help students master printmaking techniques while encouraging curiosity and creativity. I believe a strong foundation gives them the confidence to experiment, take risks, and develop their own unique artistic voice through exploration and play.

What inspires your own work?
I’m inspired by balancing control and chance. Planned and spontaneous elements combine to create unique textures and shapes, inviting viewers to explore the playful tension between intention and happy accident.
