My approach to teaching is to enable students to develop their potential as knitwear designers. I work with each student individually empowering them to further explore the medium.

I am inspired by the countryside and the changing seasons. I use imagery from the natural world in the tradition of William Morris and The Arts and Crafts movement. Geometric patterns and Folk Art are a recurring theme.
