Susie Lunt

Susie is a journalist with 25 years' experience, supported by a Master's in Journalism and tutoring experience overseas. She has worked on books, broadsheets, magazines and websites in the UK, Eastern Europe and Asia for Rough Guides, British Airways, Thomas Cook Publishing and W.H.Smith, among many other well-known organisations.

My approach to teaching: I believe teaching writing is about opening your students' eyes to the opportunities that lie all around them, as well as building the confidence to turn their travel experiences into words.


What inspires your own work? A good writer must ask questions thoughtfully, listen carefully and write truthfully and originally. I'm inspired by the incredible stories and facts that are hidden in the humblest of circumstances.
