Recital by Roy Stratford and Bela Hartmann 8pm, Saturday 7 March 2026

Book your tickets for this recital, which will take place on Saturday 7th March 2026 at 8pm in the Old Library, West Dean College.

The recital is "Wagner at the Piano", Solos and duets in piano arrangements from his operas with Bela Hartmann and Roy Stratford. If you are in agreement with Rossini that “Wagner has good moments but awful quarters of an hour” then this concert is for you, in other words, some of the best bits without having to sit through the whole opera!

The recital will be approximately an hour in length.
