About this course

A taster session exploring tone and texture using graphite pencils. This 2-hour taster session will be held on the Gardens Gatehouse Craft Table. Please access via the Gardens Entrance.

Course Description

Explore skills and techniques for depicting a variety of tones and textures while developing your drawing practice and adding depth and interest to your work. Suitable for all levels of experience. During the session, participants will create an abstract artwork on artboard using graphite.

What you'll make:

  • One abstract graphite artwork on artboard
