Describe your approach to teaching
My teaching approach is hands-on, enthusiastic and empowering, fostering curiosity, creativity and critical thinking through fun, interactive activities that inspire confidence and a lifelong love for learning.

What inspires your own work?
Broken and fractured features heavily in both my work as a maker and as a conservator. I was always captivated by and saw beauty in derelict buildings, ruins and shipwrecks- as eerie monuments of human history while providing a background for new life. Through using different making and restoration techniques, I seek to bring together those contrasts: strength and fragility, disintegration and repair.
