Martin’s career in horticulture has spanned over twenty years, experiencing projects across the UK and overseas. Martin has a passion for horticulture and a love of influencing others with inspired garden design and plant choices, whilst understanding the importance of capturing and elevating the sense of place within a garden.

Describe your approach to teaching
My approach to teaching is to create a harmonious learning environment, one where students can engage and collaborate with one another, to create an enriching learning experience.

What inspires your own work?
My work is inspired by naturalistic planting combinations and plant communities, as well as sustainable horticultural practises and garden design.
