Recent commissions include a collaboration with Kate Malone and Epr Architects to produce an external crystal glazed tile for a new building in Savile Row, London. Describe your approach to teaching:
Ideas are formed in the most unexpected ways. I always encourage students to be brave, experimental and open to gaining knowledge through tacit approaches to learning.

What inspires your own work:
I continue to be inspired by process. My studio pottery is heavily influenced by the research I've carried out for the tile company. I make reference to historical design patterns and draw on themes of British colonialism and the way in which the UK has become an eclectic mix of cultural styles.
