Celebrate the eve of the Summer Solstice with an immersive 6-mile guided walk from the historic West Dean House to the Devil's Jumps, a monumental group of Bronze Age burial mounds uniquely aligned with the solstice sunset.

Led by artist and scholar Dr Melanie Rose, this walk explores the stunning South Downs landscape, traversing ancient woodlands, pastures, and a deserted medieval village.

If the weather is clear, you will witness the breathtaking phenomenon of the sun dropping directly below the horizon in perfect alignment with the ancient barrows.

The evening concludes with a descent to a local pub and a taxi return to the college. Bring a packed evening meal and comfortable walking gear!
