West Dean Summer Show

The West Dean Summer Show showcases original work by emerging artists studying for their Graduate DiplomaMFA, and BA Art and Contemporary Craft qualifications. The free exhibition, held in the College’s Edward James Studios, displays a diverse range of practices including sculpture, installation, print, painting, film, ceramics, and textiles.

A second exhibition, a group show, is presented at Copeland Gallery in London during the Summer.

Summer Show 2026

The hugely-popular West Dean Summer Show will be open to the public from 4 – 10 July 2026, 10am-5pm in the Edward James Studios. This year’s exhibition will showcase original work by emerging artists on the BA Art & Contemporary Craft, BA Craft Practices, MFA Craft Practices, Graduate Diploma Fine Art and MFA (Master of Fine Art) programmes.

A second exhibition, the West Dean Summer Show in London, will be taking place at Dilke House, our London campus, from 16 - 19 July 2026, 12-6pm. The exhibition will showcase the work of students graduating from the BA Art and Contemporary Craft, Graduate Diploma Fine Art, and MFA (Master of Fine Art) programmes, as well as interim exhibitions by first-year MFA students.
