About this course

Push the boundaries of your drawing practice and go deeper to develop your mark-making, surface development, form and composition.

Course Description

Do you want to improve your drawing skills?

This explorative introduction into drawing is a great foundation for all-things creative. This course will help build confidence in drawing from observation and imagination and understanding of line, form, proportion and composition. We will look at materials and tools to provide a broader understanding of drawing and how to find your own style and technique

Everybody has their own unique style of drawing. The practice of drawing is a simple and accessible means to become more mindful and focused.

On this day course there will be opportunities to be experimental and learn playful techniques alongside more focused observations considering scale and composition. You will be guided to work intensely, rapidly, abstractly and prolifically using a variety of materials. You will learn how to make simple drawing tools and how to experiment with them.

This course is for beginners and experienced alike.
