Join printmaker and textile designer Justyna Medon for a vibrant four?day workshop exploring the art of creating your own textile collection. This hands?on course introduces participants to the fundamentals of block printing, screen printing, repeat pattern design, and colour mixing. Justyna will guide you from initial sketches to a creation of cohesive set of printed textile samples.
Across the four days, youll learn how to develop motifs, build repeat patterns, carve and print your own blocks, mix custom colour palettes, and print your designs onto fabric using professional screen?printing technique and cut out stencils. This workshop is designed for both beginners and those with some experience who want to deepen their understanding of pattern, rhythm, and surface design.
Working in a supportive studio environment, youll experiment with layering, composition, and colour to create a small collection of unique printed textiles. By the end of the course, youll leave with a series of finished samples, a personalised colour palette, and the confidence to continue developing your own textile designs.
This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in textiles, printmaking, pattern design, or simply exploring creative processes through hands?on making.
