A taster session exploring tapestry weaving through colour blending techniques, including hatching and half-passes. This two hour taster session will be held on the Gardens Gatehouse Craft Table. Please access via the Gardens Entrance.
Course Description
An introduction to colour and blending in tapestry weaving on a small frame loom, suitable for complete beginners. Through guided, hands-on practice, youll learn how to create soft transitions and areas of colour using simple weaving techniques, while building confidence with yarn and tools. You will take home your own woven sample at the end of the session.
