About this course

A taster session to introduce creative graphite drawing using pencil. This session will be held on the Gardens Gatehouse Craft Table. Please access via the Gardens Entrance.

Course Description

Come and explore the creative possibilities of graphite pencils — discovering their unique properties and the wide range of marks they can produce, taking drawing far beyond simple line work. Through guided experimentation with materials and techniques, participants will investigate texture, tone and mark-making in an accessible and welcoming way. Suitable for all levels, including complete beginners.

What you'll make:

  • A small handmade booklet showcasing graphite experiments and discoveries
