We will cover the basics of scriptwriting; what makes a good script and what makes a bad one; how to translate an idea into a script; the differences between theatre, audio and screen and a chance to try your hand at all three. How to generate ideas. Revealing story through dialogue and action. Setting, Character, act / episode arc and series structure, and more.
On this course the tutor will supply most of the materials including a detailed presentation on screen of notes covering the course material including written examples

Morning session: 11am - 1pm
Lunch break: 1pm - 2pm (lunch is not included)
Afternoon session: 2pm - 5.15pm (15 minute break, 3.30pm–3.45pm)
