On this creative taster, you will be introduced to the exciting process of batik. Participants will learn how to draw with wax using a tjanting, before creating a range of small samples and unique outcomes on paper using wax and dyes. This workshop is suitable for all levels.

Your Taster Session booking includes free entry to our award-winning West Dean Gardens. Combine your creative experience with a relaxing stroll, or treat yourself to a delicious lunch in the Gardens Kitchen.
This two-hour taster session will be held at our Craft Table in the Gardens Gatehouse. Please access via the Gardens entrance.
