About this course

A taster session to introduce you to Batik on paper using hot wax and dyes. This session will be held on the Gardens Gatehouse Craft Table. Please access via the Gardens Entrance.

Course Description

On this creative taster, you will be introduced to the exciting process of batik. Participants will learn how to draw with wax using a tjanting, before creating a range of small samples and unique outcomes on paper using wax and dyes. This workshop is suitable for all levels.

  • Finished piece or sample to frame

Your Taster Session booking includes free entry to our award-winning West Dean Gardens. Combine your creative experience with a relaxing stroll, or treat yourself to a delicious lunch in the Gardens Kitchen
