This is a great workshop to increase your confidence in painting, encouraging you to let go of traditional visual references and subject matter, focusing on acrylic paint effects and techniques.
This course is an opportunity for you to:
You will be encouraged to use a sketchbook to record notes, sketches, colours and ideas during the course.
The tutor will provide exercises, demonstrations and inspiration for this course.?
??On this course the College will provide A3 cartridge paper, A3 acrylic paper, acrylic paint in primary colours: Crimson Red, Cadmium Red, Cadmium Yellow, Lemon Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, Prussian Blue, along with Titanium White per student, and acrylic mediums to share amongst the group.?
??'- Brushes – a varied selection of synthetic acrylic brushes in a range of sizes: 2 – 12
A variety of art and craft materials are available from the Garden's Gatehouse Shop.
??Please wear appropriate clothing/aprons for the workshop or studio.

There is a small lift to higher floors or stairs.?
Student registration: 10.30am - 11am
Course teaching: 11am – 5.15pm
Morning session: 11am - 1pm
Lunch break: 1pm - 2pm (lunch is not included)
Afternoon session: 2pm - 5.15pm (15 minute break, 3.30pm–3.45pm)
Teaching finishes: 5.15pm
