Immerse yourself in a vibrant watercolour course inspired by the rich colours and traditions of Mexican culture. Participants will explore books and imagery that capture the lively spirit of Mexico, drawing inspiration from iconic Latin American artists such as Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo. Artefacts and a carefully arranged still life will further spark creativity as we delve into the textures, techniques, and expressive possibilities of watercolour. Throughout the course, you will practice bringing these influences to life, creating enchanting paintings that reflect the beauty and depth of Mexican artistic heritage.
On this course the College will supply some of the materials including still life artefacts, smooth and rough watercolour paper and some squirrel hair watercolour brushes (though please do bring your own brushes if you have them, we would recommend sable or squirrel hair).
